More Indoor Air Quality Improvement Ideas
I’m always looking for ways to improve the indoor air in my home. Today is no exception. A lot of times what I discover are good ideas but costly and time consuming. However, I found some ideas today that are neither. They are quick and easily incorporated into your normal routines.
The first idea is simply to clean smart. Use a damp cloth to dust in order to avoid merely rearranging the dust. Next, circulate air as much as possible. Open windows when conditions are favorable and use ceiling fans. Always use exhaust fans when cooking and in bathrooms when showering or bathing. Check filters on your heating and air systems at least once a month. Perhaps develop the habit of removing your shoes before entering your home to cut down on dust, dirt and other things being tracked in and released into your breathing atmosphere. Think about adding a house plant or two to naturally fight the air pollution inside. This last one will take a little more time but will be worth it. Launder the curtains, throw rugs and even fabric shower curtains on a regular basis. You’d be surprised at what can build up in those areas. http://www.myhomeideas.com/healthy-home/healthy-solutions/11-ways-to-improve-your-homes/
